Okay everybody, lets set the scene, you have 1-month left of your life. You’re clearly in shock and lost for words, but then you ask yourself “hmm, what can I possibly do to live my life to the absolute fullest with no regrets?”.
I WANT TO FEEL FREE
Yep, the first thing I would be ticking off my bucket list is experiencing bungee jumping/sky diving & being in a hot air balloon. Mind you I have never experienced any of these 3 things, so I think this would definitely be memorable to say the least. I could just imagine bungee jumping off he highest mountain in the world & thinking I feel free! Well this is of coarse after I have landed. I could just picture myself beforehand having a mini heart attack & sweating so much that my pants would be fully soaked (how embarrassing).
MY FAM & FRIENDS
Clearly If I had 1 month left, I would want to spend every last second with the people who mean the most to me. I would go to a destination overseas that I have never been to before. I would love to go somewhere that is full of adventures, breath taking views and food that will make me want to demolish it in 0.1 of a second. The hard part is trying to decide what country to go too!!
VISIT MY BACKGROUND
For those of you who don’t know me I am half Greek and half Russian (When I tell people my background they say wow what a mix, I hear it every time I say those words) Anyway, I would definitely travel to Greece and Russia. I think it’s important for anyone to see how their family grew up & what the culture is like in their own country. Visiting my roots would be something that I would forever hold close to my heart. But boy oh boy, I would smash down 10 kebabs in Greece in a heartbeat. Greece would be great for memories but not so good for my stomach.
ANTARCTICA
I am saving the best place til last, Antarctica. This is definitely something I would love to tick off my bucket list. Could you guys just imagine the millions of stories you would have to tell you about Antarctica? You will not not only have so many stories to share but could you imagine all of the activities you could do over there. You could see penguins close up, kayaking & camping, swimming in the bay it self and most importantly having the scenic views of Antarctica. I feel like I am convincing myself to go there right now!!!!
OVERALL
Overall If I had 1 month to live, there would definitely be a lot of things I would want to tick off my bucket list. This question has made me realise you only have 1 life to live & we don’t know when our journey will end. So sit down & make a list of all the things you would want to tick off your bucket list. Just don’t be afraid to LIVE, that is why we’re here in the first place right?
What would be your travel plans if you only had 1 month to live?
Thanks so much for sharing my blog 🙂 xx

I like this! I find this situation a bit impossible, as you never know how long you have, but I would love to visit East Africa, like Kenya and Ethiopia because I’ve never been there so it would be fun. But also sad because I would be about to die.

Wow this is amazing and definitely how I want to live my life 😃 I feel like you just described loads of things on my bucket list too 😆 except I added flying to space which obviously can’t be achieved in 1 month haha 😂 but Antarctica should be brilliant, let me know what it’s like if you ever visit!

Why limit yourself to a country? I would go on an around the world tour and get to see and eat the best the world has to offer.

I think Thailand, or somewhere where the beach has those big rocks in the middle of the water.

Great blog! One month to live! I’d be in a small village in Abruzzo, Italy with my husband, my daughter and my son in law. We’d talk, laugh and make every second count.

Great question and great blog! Thank you so much for finding and following mine. I look forward to getting to know you better as time goes on, ❤ (We are great travelers too, visited 39 countries and 49 states. Austria is just one of my favorites but all have fabulous people and sites.) Blessings for safe journeys.

I’d probably not be looking to go somewhere new. I think I’d want to enjoy some of my old favourite train stations like St Pancras or Crewe. I’d definitely want to track down my old aircraft and see if the current owner could take me for one last flight in her. And visit Zimbabwe with my wife too. But lets hope that particular conundrum is quite some time in the future!

I envy you your travels! I’m such a homebody – but if I had one month to live, I would go to Israel and retrace the steps of Jesus and the Apostles. And I would say “see you soon!”
L’chaim and Shalom to you!

Antartica!!!! Simply to imaging “being in the middle of nowhere surrounded by nothing but ice and snow, in the silence…” makes me feel so much peace. Good post!
